The backup job did not include any files

Sometimes, this error may appear in backup jobs.The cause and resolution is dependent on the backup type.

File & Folder: Check to make sure file paths are specified in the Protected Item and that the paths exist on the endpoint (sometimes auto-populated paths by the software point to non-existent folders). If the paths are present and correct, the issue may be stemming from a permission issue accessing files or an incompatibility of VSS with a portion of the file system: please contact support for further assistance.

Disk Image: Double-check to make sure 1) disks and partitions are specified in the Protected Item's configuration and 2) the Disk IDs on the endpoint have not changed since the backup was configured. The latter scenario can occur if the device's drivers are changed, if a disk is replaced, or if any other significant change in hardware or software is observed. If both conditions have been verified, please contact support for further assistance in troubleshooting the error.
