How to use your NFR licenses

NFR (not for resale) licenses let you use Magnus Box on your own workstations and servers. A device is billed as NFR when its device name ends with the -NFR billing code.

Note: Disk Image and Office 365 backups aren't included with NFR devices. You'll be charged for these backup types on an NFR device.

Steps

On a new device

  1. Install Magnus Box on the device. When it asks for the device name, add -NFR to the end, for example OFFICE-PC01-NFR.

On a device that's already registered

  1. In the Web Portal, open the user account and go to the Devices tab.
  2. Open the Rename device dialog for the device, add -NFR to the end of its name and click OK.
